MenuHacker uses Google's Gemini 2.5 Flash AI model to read and understand the text in your menu photo. It identifies each dish, estimates nutritional content based on typical ingredients and preparation methods, and assigns health scores. The photo is uploaded securely and processed in real time.
MenuHacker provides AI-estimated nutritional data based on typical recipes and preparation methods. While it is designed to be as accurate as possible, values are estimates and can vary based on how a restaurant prepares a specific dish. We recommend using it as a helpful guide, not a precise medical measurement.

Yes! MenuHacker works with any legible menu — printed menus, digital menu boards, tablet menus, and even online menus shown on a phone or computer screen. As long as the text is clearly visible and readable, the AI can analyze it.
Make sure the menu is well-lit and the photo is in focus. Hold the camera steady and try to capture the full menu text without glare. If the issue persists, email us at support@menuhacker.app with a description of the problem — we're constantly improving the AI.
MenuHacker stores your name, email (from Google/Apple sign-in), and your scan history (menu images and analysis results). We do not sell your data to third parties. For full details, see our Privacy Policy.
